3d imax is not that new, but if you have
never experienced a 3d movie IMAX style, meaning in one of their many
theaters than you are missing out on so much. There is nothing like
enjoying a movie that puts you in the actual movie. Things seem to come
off screen right at you, making for a much more enjoyable experience
and one like you have never seen before.
There are so many great 3d imax movies being shown in the IMAX
theaters. You will need to find out which movies are being shown for
the theater in your local area. You might even have a choice of the
type of theaters, regular IMAX, 3-d Theater or the Dome. At the regular
IMAX Theater you will not be able to watch the movies in 3d. They
simply show a much better quality movie on their high resolution
screens. If there is the dome or the 3-d theater in your area then one
of these two are the one's that you want to go for the full experience
of 3d in your face movie experience.
3d imax movies are filmed in a specific way to allow the movie to come
to life, and this is why they need to be specifically made for the imax
3d movie
experience, and so many more movies are doing this. It's a
great way to get the audience jumping out of their seats with amazement
and excitement. In order for the movie to become 3d there are two
cameras's used that will face each other, almost as if they are taping
each other. Of course there is much more too it than just this, and how
they do it is not nearly as important as what you can see when you
watch a 3d movie.
I would highly suggest that on your next night out you and your spouse
have a fun and exciting night out at the IMAX theater in your area, and
enjoy some dinner, a drink or two, and then put on your 3d glasses and
watch the screen come to life with things coming out of the screen
towards you. I can tell you right now that some of the movies will
really have you ducking for coverage when something explodes or fly's
right towards you. Sometimes you really do forget that it's not real.
This is why it's so much fun, and the kids will be just as amazed as
you are watching one of the many kids movies that are out there, such
as Under the Sea for an aquatic sea creature adventure.
